Maybe someone has seem this weird error before.

We have 2 E2k Servers setup in a FE/BE config. SSL is config'd and the logon into OWA is w/o problem. When we go to change the password, a box pops up which allows the input of the domain, old and new passwords (the username field is already populated), when submit is pushed, an Internet Service Manager window comes up with Error number: -2147024891. I know that this means "General Access Denied", but what is being accessed, what is being denied. The event viewers are no help, they indicate a failure object access event ID 560. Anyone have any ideas?

Keep in mind that SSL is already config'd on the IISADMPWD directory and it was setup according to MS directions to the letter.

Did you install URLScan as part of your MS setup procedure?

If so there are some settings in it that you need to chnage to allow OWA password change to function. By default, .htr files are disabled. If this file type is disabled, the OWA Change Password feature does not function

Thanks but I have already made these changes in accordance with the document you sited.

Does anyone know how/what to enable for better logging. All I'm seeing in the event logs in Object Error Access Event ID 560 when I try to change my pword via OWA. This doesn't give me much to go on
