Afternoon,

I have recently moved from a single exchange box to a front end - back end setup changing the firewall to point owa from the backend to the front end and everything seems to be working ok, i am able to access my emails via owa. I have tried to connect my pda wm5 to download and sync emails as i have done this before in previous jobs, all i need to do on the pda is enter the address for the owa and give it my details however i'm getting the server could not be reached.

I'm using SSL on my owa what am i missing?

Can you load OWA on the WM5 browser? If you can't load OWA from Internet Exploder, it may be a name resolution issue.

Actually, have you successfully had OMA/Direct Push working in your current environment? If not, you have to enable OMA/Direct Push first. Open the ESM, Open "Global Settings", "Properties on Mobile Services", and check "Enable Outlook Mobile Access", "Enable unsupported devices", and all the Exchange ActiveSync stuff. You may want to config device security too (require a password, wipe device auto, ect).
