Hi all,

I'm having trouble with OMA on our SBS '03 server.  Up until today, OWA and OMA/ActiveSync have been working perfectly.  Today I changed the TCP port for OWA so we can use port 80 for other tasks.  HTTPS ports have not changed.  OWA works, but OMA is broken.  ActiveSync on my Windows Mobile device gives me error 0x85010014.

Obviously changing the port has broken it (I set it back to 80 to verify this).  What do I need to change to get my mobile clients working again?

Hi,

I checked a few things but you need to use port 80 for OMA, this can't be changed. Isn't it possible to change the portnumber from the other application which needs port 80. ?

You are correct.  You can access OMA and A/S from the client using SSL on port 443, but OMA and A/S then make internal WebDAV calls to the /Exchange Virtual Directory on the Default Web Site, and they can only do this on port 80.

Thanks for your help.  The best solution to my problem is a second IP address.
