Hi ,

I have just setup a new SBS server 2011 with exchange server 2010.

The client PC's are all Imac's running microsoft office for Mac 2008. The mail client is Entourage 2008.

These PC's are currently in a network with a SBS server 2003 and exchange 2003.

They are connected to exchange and can view public folders without any problems.

I have been trying to connect them to the new 2011 server and everything is working except that they will not display the public folders.

If I check the public folder path in Entourage it is as follows.

servername\domain name\public.

I wanted to know if this would be the same path on the exchange 2010 server or would the path be different now.

I installed the server certificate on the Mac;s as I thought this may be the problem but they still cannot see the public folders.

Have spent some great deal of time on this and it is holding up the rest of the install so if anyone has any advice it would be appreaciated.

For Mac clients there are a lot of limitations of using anything except Outlook for Mac 2011 on Exchange 2010. Can you get a copy of the latest version of Outlook for Mac and test?

I have Entourage 2008 and Outlook 2011 on my iMac 10.7 machine.

For Outlook 2007, once your Email account is setup, click on the Tools tab at the top left. Then click on Public Folders icon. To view folders the main screen you need to 'Subscribe' to them (like Newsgroups).

In the public folder window, select the public folders you want to view and click on the (+) Subscribe button at the top left. Close the Public Folders window.

Now in the main Outlook window, on the left side, there is a folder called 'Subscribed Public Folders', any folders you have subscribed to earlier will be listed under this folder.
