I have an interesting issue with outlook 2010.  We recently migrated from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010sp1.  Currently they coexist, but all mailbox's have been moved and all routing has been completely switched to the 2010 box only.  I shut down all of the existing 2007 servers to see if anything was left out or forgotten prior to decommissioning them.  We are not using public folders.  OAB is pointing to new server farm.  When users open outlook (and this is everyone, including me) and the first time they select "new email" it will stop responding for about 30s.  Every new email you open after that initial one is instant.  I tried resetting the outlook profile and this had no effect on the issue.  So I powered back up the old servers and the issue disappears.  Anyone have any ideas?
