Hi Folks,

I am getting this error while trying to configure exchange mail account in outlook 2007.

"The name cannot be resolved. The Connection to microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action."

I am able to ping the exchange server. nslookup is working fine.

Has anyone has faced this issue. Kindly help!!!!!

Did you tried with Exchange Server's IP address or Global Catalog Server name?

Hi Gulab,

Thanks for taking effort to reply. I tried with Exchange Server's IP address and Global Catalog Server name both but no success as yet...

You are working this on the local network right? Cause I have seen incidents where this was tried from a home computer to an RPC connect and that bit failing.
