Recently added Exchange 2007.  Will be migrating from 2003.  Moving mailboxes easy enough, routing between both servers succesful.  However, now attachments are slow to open from Exchange 2007.  When trying to open attachments I get the message, "Outlook is trying to retrieve data from the Microsoft Exchange server ...."
I'm using Outlook 2007 and it's take about 3 mins to open a 2mb file??

Any help or direction will greatly be appreciated.

Do you have any mailbox level anti-virus setup on your exchange 20o7, than have a look at that. If you have too many users doing the same thing (opening loads of atttachments) and your Anti-virus (on the exchange server at mailbox level) has had its signature files updated than it forces the e-mail to be re-scanned. This can slow things down if your server is under re-sourced.

Also run the Troubleshooting exchange tool that comes with Exchange 2007 within the Tools tab. Let ie monitor your environment for 45 mins or so and see what issues you get back.
