Greetings All,

I was hoping someone out there can point me in the right direction in regards to connecting to mailboxes on EX2K3/2K7 servers through CAS using Outlook 2K3 connecting with Outlook Anywhere/RPC over HTTPS.

The EX2K3 environment is operating fine but the EX2K7 environment is not quote there yet.

Here is a Exchange 2K7 Environment:
-   XCH2K7MBX
-   XCH2K7CAS_HUB
-   XCH2K7 SP1 is installed
-   AD installed on a separate server
-   A valid 3rd Party SSL cert is installed on CAS although it's not a SAN cert
-   RPC is installed on CAS
-   Outlook Anywhere enabled on CAS
-   RPC website setup for Basic and IWA security

I can access OWA no problem and get no cert errors and functions as it should.
I can connect to a EX2K7 mailbox using Outlook 2K3 in online mode and RPC over TCP.

But I cannot connect with Outlook 2K3 using RPC over HTTPS . I get prompted to enter user creds but it fails to connects, this happens when a mailbox is either located on the EX2K3MBX or the E2K7MBX server.

Something tells me that it could be the SSL cert I'm using since it's not a SAN SSL cert but it's a valid wildcard cert.

So if anyone can point out where I'm going wrong or what's causing my issue feel free to post a reply.

Regards,
Riqsta
