We have an Windows 2003 R2 AD environment running EXCH 2003 enterprise.

We recently migrated a separate domain into ours and moved over all the users mailboxes with no issues. The department we moved had over 250 public folders which where also moved over to the new domain and to our EXCH 2003 server.
These public folders contain distribution lists and contact info necessary for that department to do their jobs. Although as the Engineer I hate this - I can't change it as it is a state requirement.

I used PFDAVADMIN to set permissions on the top level folder for the two users who need to be able to modify all of the public folders and then I used the propagate ace's option to propagate their permissions down through the PF tree to all the folders. If I go check any folder in the structure these two users are listed as Owner for the folders.

Now the issue we are having: Although they are listed as owner they cannot edit or delete any records which existed already. If they add a new contact to a PF they can then edit it/delete it/etc. This one has me really stumped and any help would be greatly appreciatted. Thanks in advance to all who may take the time to respond.
