HI,

We are using exchange server 2003 sp2, our domain name is abc.com we are using public folder, we merge with another company there domain is 123.com.

123.com want to access abc.com domain public folder. How can I give the permission?

We already have the trust with abc.com to 123.com.

How can I configure users able to access the abc.com public folder?

Please support to me.

Regards,
Chanaka.

The trust isn't going to help you here other than granting permissions to mailboxes. To access the public folders the users in other other domain will require a mailbox (and therefore a user account) in your domain. Outlook would then need to be configured to connect to your Exchange server and permissions on the public folders granted to the mailbox in your domain. As Outlook doesn't allow you to run two profiles at the same time, that will mean the users will need to close Outlook and start it again to access the other resources.

Simon.

Exchange/Outlook is not designed to work across Forests. Therefore you have to have two independent connections.

Another thought did occur to me - Interorg.

Do read the requirements and the documentation carefully as it may not meet your needs.
