Hello,

Can I just run through what I think are the steps for preparing AD in our environment (just as a final check of my sanity).

We have two Windows 2003 domains, one is the root, one is the child.  Exchange 2003 currently lives in the child domain and we will be upgrading this to 2007.

I believe we need to run the following command in the root domain, on the schema master (from the 32bit version of the Exchange discs as the DC's are 32bit):

Setup.com /PrepareAD

Followed by this in the child domain (also 32bit verson for the same reason):

Setup.com /PrepareDomain

As we already have an Exchange Org in the child domain, do I need to specify the name of the Org?  Or will preparead see it in the child domain?

Cheers!
