We are using MS Exchange 2003 server.  We have some email users we want to prevent from sending external mails.  On the connector, I created a SMTP connector.  On the delivery restriction, I added those email users (restricted from sending ext. mail) to the "Reject Message from".  But during my testing, found out that email still sent outside.

Please help.

Thanks.

The problem should have been solved by now, did you do a IISreset to force the IIS metabase and AD replication after the change?

Do you have any other SMTP connectors?
How many servers do you have?

This is how I do it:

However if you have more than one SMTP connector you have to get the costs etc correct.

Simon.

Guys,  thanks for the replies.

Adding "CheckConnectorRestrictions" to the registry resolved the problem.

Thanks again.
