USING OWA, when I try to access to the Global Distributon LIst I got this error, but If a use Outlook 2007 I haven't

Please help!

I'm experiencing the same issues, and have yet to find a resolution. I have realised that it's not a permissions based problem, I have supplied ExtendedRights to the accounts that would be used to query the GC. At a guess the issue is with the Exchange Server querying the GC. This may be due to a number of reasons and I'm trying to work on a trial and error basis. Perhaps you can list a few things that you have looked at. I'm currently trying to identify if it's a known bug with Exchange 2007, so I'm crawling through Win2003 and Exch2007 hotfixes. I'll post anything I find.

My environment is a LAB Virtual environment, and I'm running Exch2007 32bit, it's likely the hotfixes I find won't be available for my version of exchange but you may have better luck if you're running 64-bit.

Hello again,

I've found the answer, it appears to be a problem when your Exchange 2007 server and your Domain Controller have different locales. I checked my servers and they were fine from what I could see, but I decided to apply this hotfix to both Exchange 2007 server and my DC anyway, as the errors match exactly.

Above is the MS article. After patching and rebooting my DC then Exch2007 the problems were resolved. Fortunately for me it was a windows patch not exch2007(x64) patch.
