One of my office staff resigned and another took her place. For ease of migration, I am trying to rename the email account but the "reply-to" name still shows the old name. Details: Client is running Outlook 2010 on Win 7 platform interfacing with Exchange on a Windows Small Business 2003 server.
I changed all names in the Active User Directory from oldname@domain to newname@domain and changed all occurrences I could find in the client email account. In the Exchange properties for that user, the newname@domain is the primary and oldname@domain is an alias.
The new account looks perfect and receives mail to both addresses. But when sending a note to someone else, the recipient sees all the new information except when sending a reply, the name of the reply to address reverts to oldname. How can I change that display in the recipient's reply? I can't find a default "Reply-To" name and address.

When you look at the Email Addresses, the one following SMTP: in uppercase characters is the reply address. You need to open AD Users & Computers, open the user object, go to the Email Addresses tab, highlight the address you want to use, and make it the default address.
