Hi, I am quite new to Exchange 2007 and have a problem with OWA at a client site. the page works fine internally at https://localhost/owa but will not work from the internet. I have checked that the firewall is forwarding port 443 and 80 to the server, and have setup a plain web page to confirm the firewall has the port open (it has) they currently browse to their external ip/owa and just get the "Internet Explorer Cannot Display The Webpage" Is there something in either exchange or IIS which I need to ammend some settings on to get this to work? Thanks in advance Richard

Hi Richard, If redirection is working for OWA through firewall, than you can check for the following things. - Are you accessing it over HTTP/HTTPS
- If you are using HTTPS, it is over trusted third party certificate or internal certificate.
What i had noticed that this is error related to Exchange certificate, your firewall is not able to handle the certificate. Give me the firewall details and will work together. Regards, Jugal Piplani

- Make sure that you are not using IP address/exchange when browsing exteranlly. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932438 - Do we have a ISA server? if so do we have the OWA web rule in place uneder PATHS tab modify as follows /owa/*, /oab/*, /ews/* and /autodiscover/*. Also make sure we have disabled compression filter and web filter. - Try uninstalling the previous Rollup updates as all the updates ar cumulative. For Eg if you have Rollup 3 for SP1. Remove Rollup update 1 and 2 for SP1. - Also check if this happens only with SSL by removing ssl from the OWA virtual directory in IIS.

Hi Both, Thanks for your reply, they only have a 2007 server so are not using /exchange externally, they are using /owa, they have no isaserver and I have tried turning ssl off on the site but still cannot access from outside. (it works fine internally both on http and https) I am still not convinced that it isn't something with the firewall (A draytek 2900 series) even though the ports are open and redirecting to the correct box. I would also like to avoid uninstalling stuff if at all possible as it is their live server Thanks in advance Richard
