I have two exchange servers 2003.  I have an issue connecting to my mail server directly.  For some reason I can not connect or access to the mail server using http://mailex1/exchange/pcurry but I am however able to access it if I type in the path like this http://mailex1/exchange/pcurry@stom.com/.  How do I change it so I can just type in http://mailex1/exchange/pcurry and not http://mailex1/exchange/pcurry@stom.com/?  Is there something in IIS on the backend server I need to change?  I have one front end exchange server.  I do not have this issue with the other Exchange server.

Thanks

Hi,

The difference should be somewhere in the IIS settings I think. If you go to your Outlook Web Access page you can login using your UPN or login as domain\username. I found an article which may help you:

http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/OWA2003Forms-based-Authentication-default-domain.html

Please let me know if this solves your issue.
