The underlying operating system is W2K8 with service pack 1 32 bit and I get this error message "The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher." when I am trying to install Exchange Server 2007. The extension to the iso file for the Exchange Server 2007 is X12.
Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

i think u r trying to install exchange 2007 64bit on a windows server 2008 32 bit which cannot be done
either to install exchange 2007 the RTM version i mean the 32 bit
or work wz windows server 2008 64 bit

Those were some of my suspicions, I am running it all on vmware workstation 6.0 but I am not sure if vmware workstation will support a 64 bit operating system. Websites seem to state otherwise but I am not certain.
Any help would be appreciated.
