I need to be able to programatically connect to exchange 2010 and export millions of .msg files daily. The msg files are being journaled to mission specific exchange servers. I need to be able connect to them, pull out the original msg file and create an xml or json file with the BCC information. We can't use eml and whatever I write needs to be very scalable and reliable. If anyone can point me in the right direction or give me some pointers, that would be great.

Thanks

Well, first thing to say is that the messages in the database are not in EML or MSG format anyway so you will do the construction of the whatever format files you need from the raw data.

What are you pulling the data into and is there really a need for it to be fed into Exchange at all? You're going to give your Exchange environment a heck of a lot of trouble by dumping millions of messages a day, only to pull them out again,
