Hi Folks,

I am getting the following message: "This public folder is the last store holding the mapi public folder tree and cannot be deleted."

Basically my client had a server crap out on them and they brought me in to clean up the mess. I had to recreate a new information store and in turn recreate the public folders as well. I tried to delete the old public store and came across the message above. They are running SBS2003 with all the latest updates. They have no front end back end to migrate the public folders. I am somewhat up a creek without a paddle on this. ANy clue as to how to recreate a folder for the default mapi client?

Hi,

If you don't need the info, dismount the database and delete the database + log files. Then mount the database again and new files will be created.
