I administer a exchange 2000 server, yesterday morning when i arrived at work, one of our public folders was missing. I checked all log files, etc to see if the system was compromised, but everyhting was fine. Any idea why a folder would just disappear. Right now I can only assume that someone deleted it.

Any input would be appreciated ?

Have the same problem. Folders being deleted by a user is HIGHLY unlikely. Has happened to at least two folders on my system so far. One of them, only me and two other techs have permissions to delete. They just dissappeared. We back up, but can't justify backing up the entire public folder database just for one or two folders. Any suggestions as to cause or rememdy?
