We have many public folders and I need to be able to set permissions on more than one at a time.

In exchange 2003 you had a wizard, but with exchange 2007 that seems to have gone.

Can anyone please tell me how I can achieve this?

I couldn't find the way to propogate permissions or change them on a directory level. We are still using Exchange 2003 ESM even though we are on Exchange 2007 now. E2007 EMC doesn't allow same functionality. Its very inconvenient.

Hi Spawforths,

Have you tried using pfdavadmin? I am sure it can do the trick.

get-publicfolder -identity "<folder name>" -recurse | add-publicfolderclientpermission -user "<user.name>" -accessright Editor

That will work as I use it all of the time to recursively allow permissions
