So docs say to migrate mailboxes first and that PF's will be accessible but that doesn't appear to be the case.

I've got everything moved and working but Public Folders I get prompted. I figured it was because there are no Public Folders on the 2013 box. I thought redirection would handle it.

So login right now with recently migrated mailbox gets a prompt and public folders aren't accessible. I'm guessing something to do with Outlook Anywhere and the authentication mechanisms but I'm not 100 sure yet.

Hi,

Please verify the following:

Get-OutlookAnywhere -server Exchange2013Server

If ExternalHostName is set verify the ExternalClientAuthenticationMethod parameter. If set to negotiate change it to NTLM:

Get-OutlookAnywhere -Server Exchange2013Server| Set-OutlookAnywhere -ExternalClientAuthenticationMethod NTLM

If InternalHostName is set InternalClientAuthenticationMethod parameter. If set to negotiate change it to NTLM

Get-OutlookAnywhere -Server Exchange2013Server| Set-OutlookAnywhere -InternalClientAuthenticationMethod NTLM

This will change the logon network security to NTLM instead of negotiate.
