Hi, I am having the following problem. I have setup a 2nd Exchange server in an exchange 2000 site and have migrated 3 users to this new exchange 2000 server. Nearly everything seems to have gone well, I can send/receive and access all mailbox folders. The problem is I am getting the following error in Outlook when it does a send/receive: Task 'Microsoft exchange server' reported error (0x8004010F) : 'The operation failed. An object could not be found From my research I think this is the off-line address book. I have tried rebuilding the address book and re-started the exch services. I have now found that the public folders are not replicating between the servers (and so could be causing the Outlook error message) the only error messages I get in Event Viewer are (when I set logging to max): Event ID 3093 Error -2147221233 reading property 0x67480014 on object type tbtOwningFolders from database "First Storage Group\Public Folder Store (UKLONEXCH)". I have added both servers in the replication of the public folders. I have checked the Microsoft support page on this, but I do not have the Replication reg anyway. I have no PF replication messages backing up in the Queue. Here is what I get from message tracker: - <TrackHistory xmlns="http://www.microsoft.com/schemas/MessageTracking"> - <Exchange_MessageTrackingEntry> <TimeLogged>2005-12-1 0:15:00</TimeLogged> <OriginationTime>2005-12-1 0:15:00</OriginationTime> <KeyID>\\uklonw2k1.uk.arkadin.com\UKLONW2K1.log\20051201.log,39174</KeyID> <LinkedMessageID>c=GB;a= ;p=uk.arkadin.com;l=UKLONW2K1-051201001500Z-32</LinkedMessageID> <MessageID>35F70B6B1C0AA2409945AD4E19E9C065046B56@uklonw2k1.uk.arkadin.com</MessageID> <SenderAddress>EX:/O=ARKADIN UK/OU=FIRST ADMINISTRATIVE GROUP/CN=CONFIGURATION/CN=SERVERS/CN=UKLONW2K1/CN=MICROSOFT PUBLIC MDB</SenderAddress> <ServerName>uklonw2k1.uk.arkadin.com</ServerName> <EntryType>1027</EntryType> <RecipientCount>1</RecipientCount> <Priority>0</Priority> <Size>208</Size> - <Recipients> - <Recipient> <RecipientAddress>/O=ARKADIN UK/OU=FIRST ADMINISTRATIVE GROUP/CN=CONFIGURATION/CN=SERVERS/CN=UKLONEXCH/CN=MICROSOFT PUBLIC MDB</RecipientAddress> <RecipientStatus>0</RecipientStatus> </Recipient> </Recipients> </Exchange_MessageTrackingEntry> - <Exchange_MessageTrackingEntry> <TimeLogged>2005-12-1 0:15:00</TimeLogged> <OriginationTime>2005-12-1 0:15:00</OriginationTime> <KeyID>\\uklonw2k1.uk.arkadin.com\UKLONW2K1.log\20051201.log,39598</KeyID> <MessageID>35F70B6B1C0AA2409945AD4E19E9C065046B56@uklonw2k1.uk.arkadin.com</MessageID> <ServerName>uklonw2k1.uk.arkadin.com</ServerName> <EntryType>1019</EntryType> <RecipientCount>1</RecipientCount> <Priority>0</Priority> <Size>208</Size> - <Recipients> - <Recipient> <RecipientAddress>/O=ARKADIN UK/OU=FIRST ADMINISTRATIVE GROUP/CN=CONFIGURATION/CN=SERVERS/CN=UKLONEXCH/CN=MICROSOFT PUBLIC MDB</RecipientAddress> <RecipientStatus>0</RecipientStatus> </Recipient> </Recipients> </Exchange_MessageTrackingEntry> - <Exchange_MessageTrackingEntry> <TimeLogged>2005-12-1 0:15:00</TimeLogged> <OriginationTime>2005-12-1 0:15:00</OriginationTime> <KeyID>\\uklonw2k1.uk.arkadin.com\UKLONW2K1.log\20051201.log,39859</KeyID> <MessageID>35F70B6B1C0AA2409945AD4E19E9C065046B56@uklonw2k1.uk.arkadin.com</MessageID> <ServerName>uklonw2k1.uk.arkadin.com</ServerName> <EntryType>1025</EntryType> <RecipientCount>1</RecipientCount> <Priority>0</Priority> <Size>208</Size> - <Recipients> - <Recipient> <RecipientAddress>/O=ARKADIN UK/OU=FIRST ADMINISTRATIVE GROUP/CN=CONFIGURATION/CN=SERVERS/CN=UKLONEXCH/CN=MICROSOFT PUBLIC MDB</RecipientAddress> <RecipientStatus>0</RecipientStatus> </Recipient> </Recipients> </Exchange_MessageTrackingEntry> - <Exchange_MessageTrackingEntry> <TimeLogged>2005-12-1 0:15:00</TimeLogged> <OriginationTime>2005-12-1 0:15:00</OriginationTime> <KeyID>\\uklonw2k1.uk.arkadin.com\UKLONW2K1.log\20051201.log,40120</KeyID> <MessageID>35F70B6B1C0AA2409945AD4E19E9C065046B56@uklonw2k1.uk.arkadin.com</MessageID> <ServerName>uklonw2k1.uk.arkadin.com</ServerName> <EntryType>1024</EntryType> <RecipientCount>1</RecipientCount> <Priority>0</Priority> <Size>208</Size> - <Recipients> - <Recipient> <RecipientAddress>/O=ARKADIN UK/OU=FIRST ADMINISTRATIVE GROUP/CN=CONFIGURATION/CN=SERVERS/CN=UKLONEXCH/CN=MICROSOFT PUBLIC MDB</RecipientAddress> <RecipientStatus>0</RecipientStatus> </Recipient> </Recipients> </Exchange_MessageTrackingEntry> </TrackHistory> I have added replicas for all folders in the "Public Folder Instances". I have used the Exchange System Manager to move both the Public and Mailbox stores to a different drive, but I have not removed the old MDBDATA folder. I'm sure I had this problem before I moved them too. I will also add that I am using both Exchange servers. The problem is only on mailboxes that have been moved to the new server. Any ideas? Many thanks, Ben
