We  recently installed a new Exchange server to migrate over to from our existing setup. The mail folder moves went without a hitch but the process of moving the public folders over was killing the old server's performance so we had to stop replication. since then we have seen several folders that will not show up in the outlook client. I have done an integrity check on the pubs database and it checks ok. I also removed a set of these folders and recreated them on the old mail server. They appear to be fine when you look at them through ESM and OWA but they are not enumerating in the outlook client pubs list. Any ideas on where the hiccup might be?

Sorry I should have mentioned that the original server was exchange standard and the new server is enterprise. the old server is still acting as teh SMTP gateway. (It's not frontended) I did have to add a smtp bridgehead to the old server so that we didn't get NDR's from external clients that do reverse DNS lookups on mail received. This configuration was working with the pub folders until the replication snafu So I suspect that the culprit lies in something that happened when we shut down replication. The replicas were removed and replication was re-enabled as well. We also have GFI Mail essentials/ mail security installed on the new server as the old server will be going offline as soon as prudent.

If there is anything else you might need to help diagnose let me know. I've also turned on logging for replication to see if any smoking guns show up.
