I have an Exchange 2003 Server (singler server scenario). Server runs Exchange only. Server is working great with OWA OMA and regular email. RPC works great however if I close port 135 it fails. This is a fresh migration and the old server did not require port 135 open. I had to add it to the Firewall to get RPC working. I understand the old server was set off defaults to allow it to work. Question is does anyone have a tutorial on how to do this? I can't seem to find anything that I haven't already tried.

Thanks,
Brian

Why do you need RPC port 135 open? If its for Outlook, then you can use the RPC over HTTP feature instead and then you do not need other ports open.
