Hi all,
my question is:
I have a server outside company and i want to send emails to my customers and my coworkers.
When i create the receive connector in the Exchange 2010 server with anonymous security on everything works fine.
But when i am trying the above from a server that is inside the company i have "Unable to Relay Error"
The server has 2 network cards :
Ext -> 192.168.0.10
Int -> 192.158.0.20
Anything of the above does not work, when i add the above IP's in the connector.
Any ideas?
Thank you

Try creating the receive connector as described in the article:

Thank you for the answer.
I followed the tutorial but unfortunately i have the same error:
550 5.7.1 Unable to relay
Do i have to run a command as i did in the first try when i've made the connector from the cloud?
Thank you in advance

I've run this command :
Get-ReceiveConnector "PR_Receive" | add-ADPermission -user "NT AUTHORITY\Authenticated Users" -ExtendedRights "Ms-Exch-Accept-Headers-Routing","Ms-Exch-SMTP-Accept-Any-Sender","Ms-Exch-SMTP-Accept-Authoritative-Domain-Sender","Ms-Exch-SMTP-Submit","Ms-Exch-SMTP-Accept-Any-Recipient"

and still have the unable to relay error.
Also i checked this site too http://www.more2know.nl/2010/11/03/exchange-2010-relay-permissions

Any ideas???

how many other receive connectos do you have? What are their permissions? Actually just run GET-RECEIVECONNECTOR | FL and post the results.

I had to complete the following action on my receive connector.

Get-ReceiveConnector -Identity "ServerName\Receive Connector Name" | Add-ADPermission -User "NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON" -ExtendedRights "ms-Exch-SMTP-Accept-Any-Recipient" -verbose

It might be too much but it did work.

Peace

Hi all,
i've got totaly 3 connectors:
Client: on port 587 and 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.255
Default: on port 25 and 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.255
and Cloud : on port 25 and a public IP with anonymous users.
All i want to do is to send emails to customers from an internal application, and i can't.
I always get unable to relay

The authentication is ANONYMOYS (for the cloud)
For the Internal i used Authentication for Exchange Servers in the first connector , and for Exchange Users in the second Connector
