Does anyone know the difference between the default and client receive connectors?

Also, how do I setup a receive to go out to the internet?

Receive is for inbound only.
If you look at the configuration of the connectors then you will see the differences. Authentication and ports will be different.

Simon.

Sorry I meant to say how do I route email from the internet to route into the HT.

Do I need to create a new Receive connector or can I use the client or default connectors?

My previous response still applies.
If you look at the configuration of the connectors then you will see the differences.
The only thing you have to change if you don't have an Edge server it to enable authentication on the Default Receive Connector.

Simon.
