Hello all: I need some clarification about relay. I read http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/MF005.html and it is already applied to my server. First of all, I have an Exchange 2K installed on Windows 2K machine SP4. However, when I check my queues, I find that many of the queus have the following address as sender service@intl.paypal.com and recipients may look like the following emartin@med.vu.nl. However, all of them have nothing to do with my domain name. Does above scenario mean that my server is an open relay? and if yes, how to fix it? TIA

TIA, Have you checked for viruses or spyware which tries to send e-mails ? Which IP-adresses have you added to the internet connector to allow relay, only the mailserver ?

HI, I got a problem with Exchange 2000. I use Microsoft Outlook 2003 as a client software. When users are trying to connect to exchange and get their e-mails it doesn't work, but later it connects automatically and downloads e-mails and again continues not to be able to connect. this happens very often. Also it takes a lot of time for the server to boot. this problem started to happen yesterday. Can somebody give me a hint what could cause this. Thank you.
