Hello,
I have a front-end exchange 2003 box with a self-signed SSL cert created by a different CA box. Mobile 6 no longer lets users connect to OWA with a self-signed cert (or so it seems) so I was thinking of just removing the cert altogether to allow the connection. However, in doing so, http://mail.domain.com fails to load.

After removing the certificate from the Default Web Site in IIS of the server, made sure the "Require SSL connection" wasn't checked, I even tried restarting IIS but still no luck. Reimporting the cert would allow https://mail.domain.com resolve once more like before. How do I make sure http:// resolves? I appreciate any ideas. Thanks.

hi mate,

I believe you have done the right thing but you might missed.
Assuming that your owa is friendly url like - https://webmail.domain.com

1) Remove the existing certificate
2) Uncheck 128-bit encryption option i.e require SSL and cross verify it whether it has unchecked from all exchange virtaul directories
3) when you created friendly url you had changed the redirect path for https://webmail.domain.com/exchange , please confirm that you remove https as well
