My company started its Exchange 2000 environment with an Exchange 2000 Standard server in domain1.com (the first domain in the forest). We then added a second company as domain2.com (into the same forest) and 2 Exchange 2000 Advanced servers. We are slowly phasing out the 1st domain, and we want to take down the original Exchange 2000 Standard server from domain1.com. I've already moved the mailboxes over to one of the advanced servers (into a seperate info store). I need to know what to do now to shutdown the Standard server. I've also made one of the adavance servers the master, demoting the standard server to member. Is there other things I should be looking for?
