I wish to replicate a public folder tree from one Exchange 2003 server to another. I also want to avoid opening the properties of each folder, finding the Replication Tab, and adding the server into every folder.

Is there anyway to add a Replication server to a public folder tree without adding it to the Replicaton Tab of each folder?

did you try using the 'send hierachy' function to replicate?

I hadn't tried that yet, as I read that as it will just kick off a replication of what folders you already have defined to replicate to other servers...(can you follow me?? [Smile] )

Maybe I'll give that a go and see if it does replicate the entire tree.

Thanks, I'll let you know.

Nope, this did not work for me. I believe it just forced an instance of replication.

Any other ideas?

Thanks.

Can someone take another look at this?

I have Pub Foler A with a Sub Pub Folder B with 50+ sub folders.

I want to setup replication of this Folder Tree to another server, but I don't want to open the properties of each folder and add the other server manually.

Anyone know how to setup this replication without doing that?

Thanks!

Just add the new replica for the topmost folder, then right-click folder->All tasks-Propaget settings. Choose the replicas settings.
