Hi All, Please help, having a strange issue. When any user @ our comapny tries to send an email to a particular domain, it fails within 3 seconds and gives the below error. I thought it may be @ the other end but they are saying the emails are not even hitting their firewall, so I guess it must be our exchange server stopping it from sending out. We are not on any blacklists. PLEASE HELP??? Delivery has failed to these recipients or distribution lists: mgeorge@cmv.com.au An error occurred while trying to deliver this message to the recipient's e-mail address. Microsoft Exchange will not try to redeliver this message for you. Please try resending this message, or provide the following diagnostic text to your system administrator. The following organization rejected your message: Requested. 1. to double check if u r in in RBL check this http://www.robtex.com/rbl/ 2. It would appear that their domain is blocking you - eith via a Blacklist you are unaware of or some other configuration they have set on their systems. If you cannot find an entry on any Blacklists try contacting the SysAdmins at the other company to establish if they are blocking your e-mail or have any other configuration in place that is stopping you sending e-mail to them 3. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998772.aspx

Thanks for the fast repsonse. However the other end as menitoned are saying that the email' is not hitting there end at all, so I think its an exchange server setting at our end. Is there anything else I can check? btw Its Exchnage 2007 not 2003, I think I posted this in the 2003 section.

Look at your SMTP log for the communication to that outside address. See what SMTP commands you are sending and what responses you get back.

All fixed, I ended up telnetting into their server, and send an email step by step and and it only failed on the send. It was at their end. They we blocking an IP address on their mail server/spam tool, even though they said they weren't. Thanks for the suggestions.
