Hi,

I am using Windows SBS Server 2003 with SP 2 on two machines.

Machine 1 is a live system and machine 2 is a dummy system to test a restore of the Mail Box. The Dummy system has been configured similarly to machine 1... However all hardware is different.

I have successfully restored the mail using ntbackup.

I have created users and mailboxes with correct permissions on the dummy system. I have also enabled Send As and Receive As options, and given my "Mail_Send_Receive" Security User Group "Full Administrator" rights.

Both the First Storage Group and the Recovery Storage Group have been mounted.

I notice that the mailbox names from the restore are not the mailbox names I originally assigned to them on the active server (machine 1). This results in a failure to export from the Restore Storage Group into the First Storage group using ExMerge.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

hi john

sorry for late reply, i was stuck with lots of things.

I am not able to read it.
First thing rename all exmerge.log and exmerge1.log and anyother exmerges log.

Then select only one failed user and run exmerge and whatever the file it will create, please post that one.
