I did a bit of research on this topic as we want to restrict Android OS devices from connecting to our EAS.
This led me to the following command: New-ActiveSyncDeviceAccessRule –QueryString {Devicetype i.e. Android, iPhone, etc] -Characteristic
DeviceType –AccessLevel Quarantine

What would the syntax be to block Android OS devices from connecting to EAS? Is it just Android? Or AndroidOS?

When running the powershell command, get-activesyncdevicestatistics the devicetype always seems to return Android for any version/flavor of the AndroidOS.

I would say Android.
