is SAN Certificate required only when using CAS in NLBC mode.Since, hostname of CAS server would be different that Clustered NLBC name we create in DNS or Exchange Server 2007 requires  SAN certificate whether we use CAS in NLBC mode or not.

What are other alternatives exclusing SAN certificate?

regards

Any reason why you don't want to use a SAN certificate? I use a SAN certificate on all deployments that I do - even single server deployments.

Simon.
