I'm currently doing a proof of concepts for SCR for a client. I have created 2 Exchange servers, 2 DC's and have enabled SCR for an existing database successfully... I have tested that the replica is healthy and that the log files and database has has been populated on the standby server. When it comes to replication, I dismount the source store, run Restore-StorageGroupCopy and it finishes without error. I then move onto running ESUTIL /r e03 /a and this takes the database to a clean shutdown. When I move to the next step which is: Move-StorageGroupPath "StandbyServer\Storage Group" -SystemFolderPath "New folder path on the standby server" -LogFolderPath "New folder path on the standby server" -ConfigurationOnly I get the following error: MoveStorageGroupPath : the operation could not be performed because object 'StandbyServer\StorageGroup' could not be found on Domain Controller 'DC1.litwareinc.com' Thinking this was a configuration DC problem, I changed the config DC to another server and it still shows the same error. DNS names are present and setup correctly. The same path i.e. StandbyServer\StorageGroup was used with success on the Restore-StorageGroupCopy command so really not sure why this is bombing out at this point... Anyone have any ideas? Also, is there a definitive set of documentation on configuring SCR for site resilience, BUT without using SCC as on the Technet website... Thanks in advance, Carl

I found I had not deleted the databases in the temp mailboxes used to re-point to the copies of the storage group. Once I did this it worked fine. Cheers, Carl
