We are currently evaluating SCR Replication for disaster recovery purposes. All the documentation i've been reading talks about how to fail to your targer server, but nothing talks about failing back to the source. How is failing back to the source server handled?

hi mate,

Try to search in google "Standby Continuous Replication: Site Resilience with Standby Clustering "

you might get something.

SCR is not a cluster technology and there is no "official" failback.  There are a couple of possibilities depending on situation.

I have been working on testing and documentation for SCR and began by failing back in the reverse order using scr source and target back to the production server.  Then I realized that instead of replicating files back to the production server you could simply move mailboxes through the wizard from the scr server back to the original server.  See any problems with this?

scr failback is the same steps as when you enable SCR except this time your first scr source witll be your scr target.
