All,
I have an issue with SCR and was hoping to receive some guidance on the same. So here goes...
I have 2 Windows 2003 R2 Server x64 with SP2 running Exchange 2007 SP1. One of them has the production db(77.4 GB). I have a second exchange server setup with identical install paths as well as identical storage group and db paths. I tried to enable SCR and got an error saying the db was not seeded. I went back and tried to seed the target db and got an error saying SCR is not enabled(talk about Catch 22). So I come back to the primary and run the SCR command again and this time I'm told that another SCR copy alreayd exists. I run the update storage group cmd and I am told that SCR is not configured. I run disablestorage group copy and am told that SCR is not enabled. I even tried to move the storage group on the target and delete all logs and retried SCR with no luck. I've included a screenshot.
Thanks in advance and please let me know if additional info is needed to troubleshoot this.
