We currently have SMSME v4.5 and iHateSpam Server Edition installed on our Exchange 2000 server. We also through SMSME have enabled the Real-time Blacklist (RBL) Blocking using the following 3 sources dynablock.njabl.org,bl.spamcop.net,sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org

The problem we are still getting e-mail passing through (or bypassing) SMSME and iHateSpam and making there way to the SMTP queue.

Were puzzled why these were allowed to get through when we told SMSME and iHateSpam to block these domains. We can enter new domains and the following day they we appear back in the queue for SMTP.

Below are a couple of syntexes that are included in our BLOCKED DOMAIN SPAM LIST Match List...

1) TO BLOCKED SINGLE DOMAINS .*@badmail\.com$
2) TO BLOCK SUB DOMAINS WITHIN
DOMAINS .*@.*\.badmail\.com$

Am I doing the syntexes wrong?? Are the spammers figuring a way around these filters?? HELP !

We sure appreciated any help that you can offer or any explanation to why this is happening.

Thanks mr.scrooge "[Big
