Hi

I currently have Exchange 2003 SP2 running SMTP connector for Internet email and secured email.

The above does`nt allow us to outsource email to combat spam as direct communication with the mail server is required for secured email.

Also after using Spamhaus I have found alot of ISP's eg BT, Tiscali etc are listed and we can`t therefore use it as most of our clients use the above ISPs.

I am looking at a solution which will allow me to delete anything I know to be SPAM. To this end has anyone come across an event sink script which will MX lookup an incoming SMTP email IP number and if it does`nt have one reject it ?

This I feel would remove the bulk or rubbish as there is no reason I would want to recieve email from a machine that is not registered as a mailserver for its domain.

Many Thanks
Alastair
