SMTP inbound relay issue - 18.Nov.2003 1:35:00 AM
Guest
I have an Exchange 2000 server. We just recently enabled our server to process intermail. We had POP3 accounts. We disabled SMTP relaying (after recieving 100,000 emails!) However, we now have a problem with certain organizations being able to send us email. They are getting: 572 relay not authorized. These users seem to be people whose servers either scan their email and/or their email servers forward all outbound mail to their ISP. Does this make any sense? Is there something that is not set correctly? Please help if you can, Thank you Mark L
