Hello,

What is the best order to install SP1:

- First the CAS server and then the other server (with all the other roles)
or
- It doesn't matter.

With kind regards,
WVR

that is fine.. you can start with cas as first server then rest of the thing, even i haven't receive any issue with sp1 installation which should be the first.
I tried both the method i.e CAs first and then rest of the server role and even i tried CCR sp1 and then rest of the server roles.

Expert any suggestion on this consideration please!!!

The update to SP1 went well. Initially I made a new server without SP1. When I tried the SP1 installation, I received a strange error (sorry, I have forgotten which error). I removed the Exchange installation, reverted the machine and tried again. Then no problems at all.

I did 2 other servers (one CAS only and one Hub / Mailbox) without any problems.

With kind regards,
WVR

hi mate,

you can't install interorg replication tool in exchange 2007 server, you need to have atleast one 2k3 server before you could install 2k7.

Just you make sure availability services is working on 2k7 box and pf on 2k3.
