Hi All..

In our company we are using Exchange 2003 SP2 with windows server 2003 SP1. Now I am planning to install SP2 to server 2003. Is there any problems to Exchange if I install SP2 directly to server? OWA,RPC over HTTP,OMA working in our exchange. What are the precautions should i take to this installation?

Thanks alot well in advance

Hi,

If you have a front-end and back-end first upgrade the front-end and then th back-end. Make sure you have read the release notes:

Hi Johan
Thanks for your reply.

Exchange server 2003 SP2 already intalled in Windows server 2003 SP1. OWA ,RPC over HTTP, OMA everything workig fine. Now i need to upgrade our windows server 2003 SP1 to SP2 ( not Exchange).

Thanks

No problem at all. I do it all the time when I am updating client machines. The service pack is fully Exchange 2003 SP2 aware as it is newer.

The only question I would ask is why you have taken so long!

Simon.
