I am running Exchange 2007 with Outlook 2007 clients. I want to leave  Auto reply and auto forward disabled as defaulted.  But I want to selectively allow a few users the capability of using auto forward via Outlook rules.  Is that possible?

Best regards,
Fred Jumayao

It is possible, but for that to work the below should be true:

1. The user who you are trying to allow specifically should have a different primary domain.
2. There should be domain created for that particular domain in the "Internet Message Formats" and settings specified as necessary.

Well the Auto-reply, OOO etc are  SMTP domain specific, so in order to allow only a particular set of users to have the capability to send these reports and kind of mails, create a seperate domain for them and and apply the email address to them alone.!!!
