I have 2 different domains sent up on my 2007 exchange box. The problem is I have some users that need to send mail from my x2 domain rather then the primary domain. right now I can get mail from both domains but when they send mail it comes from the primary domain. So it comes in from @x2.com but when they reply it goes out as @x1.com. Is there a way to fix this with out making the x2 domain primary?

Tommy, How did you configure the e-mail address policies ? You will need to make two seperate policies and assign them to the users. In one policy make the x1 the primary address in the other the x2 as the primary address. Then apply the policies and try again.

The Policies I have are from 2003 and cant be updated through 2007. If I create new policies based on the company I would have to go through all my mailboxes and put in a company name. Is that Correct?

We migrated from 2003 to 2007. I have about 250 mailboxes. Most of them are in the same company. Only A hand full would go to the other company. Let me know if you need more inforamation.

Hi, In that case you can change the e-mail policies without causing issues to my knowledge.

So basicly I really dont have any policy and i can enact new ones correct? Then I go back to the an earlier question. If I go and create 2 policies one for company A and one for Company B and make the rule apply based on Company name then will have to update accounts to be the that company? So if Mary is part of Company A she would get her mail and send with company A domain and if Sally is with company B she would get and send her mail with company B domain.

The policies I have in 2007 right now say they are not applied. So does that mean I dont have a policy in place? From the looks of that I should be to set the policy and set the user and should work just fine. Little scared of taking down a bunch of users.
