We've set this up and it's working as it should do if a jason@abc.com is not found on exchange 2003 its send to jason@xyz.com exchange 2010.

Although if Julie@xyz.com tries to send to a valid mailbox on abc.com the message is lost. On the message tracking this is the message that we have

Submitted 20/01/2012 14:29 EX01.int.dmhrc.net The message was submitted to ex01.xyz.com.

Transferred 20/01/2012 14:29 ex01.xyz.com The message was successfully handed off to a different e-mail system. This is as far as we can track it.
