I am trying to share a public calendar that is in a public folder. I have set the permissions and I have mail enabled it. I even see it in my GAL. When I click "Open Shared Calendar" in Outlook and I locate the Calendar I am trying to share I get "Unable to display the folder. The server mailbox cannot be opened because this address book entry is not a mail user." I am able to email the public folder without any problem. If someone has any insight I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, David

You need to view the calendar by expanding the Public Folder tree.

I am looking to share this calendar from the "Calendar" section in MS Outlook. I would prefer it there as opposed to spreading calendars all over the place. Thanks, David

I'm not sure what you mean by "spreading calendars" - there will only be one that shows up in the Public Folders. In any case, if you really need for it to be opened in the manner you describe, then you are talking about a mailbox calendar instead.

What I mean by spreading calendars is that people use their personal calendars as well and if I locate a calendar in 'Public Folders' then they would no longer be able to view them side by side. My reasoning for using the public folders instead another mailbox is for the people here that have a blackberry. The cannot sync another users calendar, but the can sync a their own calendar and one that is a public folder. If there was a way to sync a users calendar with a public folder I would be all set. Thank you for you insight thus far :) David
