I several users, including the CEO who don't want to always use the https://servername.domain.org/owa to access our company email because it is too hard to remember everything.

They just want to enter www.mail.domainname.org to get web mail.

Outside of changing some data at our Domain registrar, what other things to do I need to perform or change?

Thanks in advance.

You will have to do a redirect in IIS.
Ensure that your CAS box has the name mail.dn.org in DNS
Ensure that the root IIS folder will accept http and https, to do this disable require SSL, this inherit to other v dirs in IIS, so make sure you put it back on the ones that require it, esp OWA.
Now redirect the root folder to point to your HTTPS enabled OWA v dir.
Ensure that in Exchange you configure your CAS server OWA website to have mail.dn.org.

There are a few articles for this out there. I can't describe exactly what to do, because I don't know which version of iis you have. If it's iis7 (i.e. win 2008 server), try this search below. If it's iis6, change the iis7 on the end of the url to iis6:

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998359%28EXCHG.80%29.aspx should point you in the right direction.  I used it and got mine going with it.  The community comments are worth paying attention to to get rid of the inherited settings on some of the vdirs.

I have my users go to /exchange directory as I was in coexistence.  I may change it to /owa at some point soon.
