Hello, i'm ashvin from Mauritius. I'm a System Administrator in a textile company.  Actually i'm facing a big prob.  We have exchange server 2000 installed on SBS 2000.  2 months back some users report that they got a lot of spam messages in their mailbox.  I have installed GFI MAIL SECURITY and i have configured it and it works.  I can see on the mail server, there is a lot of spam messages which were blocked.  But still some users complain that they  receive spam message.  So how come it goes directly to their mail box.
Any help plz
thx

Well if you installed GFI Mail Security I am not surprised you are getting spam, as MS is not an antispam tool. It is an antivirus tool. You need Mail Essentials for spam detection.

However you will never eradicate spam totally. If your users are expecting that then they need to be educated about that not being possible. The most you can do is reduce the levels.

Simon.
