Hi Guys,

I'm new here and this is my first time to post a thread. I'm encountering the error below everytime I run the Connection Agreement Wizard.

Error: The organization o=<Current Installation Org> is already installed into this forest but the configured 5.5 server is a member of organization o=<Previous Installation Org>. Please choose a 5.5 server in the correct Org.

There was a previous installation of Exchange in the AD domain which had some issues. When I cannot resolve the issues, I recreated the AD domain by formatting Windows Server 2003 server running as DC and Exchange 2003 server and setting them up from scratch. I did not encounter the previous issue but I am now faced with a new one. Kindly please someone help me with this issue.

hi mate,

Check in the ADSIEDIT => Configuration => Services => Microsoft Exchannge (R u able to see it)? if it is a clean installation you should not suppose to see it.

Is it a single domain controller or you have more then (more then one dc then it will replicate the same info)

Run exbpa tool (download it from www.exbpa.com) and follow the recommendation

Hi Ismail,

Thanks for the immediate reply. I really appreciate it. If I remember it correctly, I think I saw Microsoft Exchange in ADSIEDIT. I'll check it once I get back to the office on Monday and run the exchange best practice analyzer.

In the Windows 2003 domain, there's only one domain controller.

Thanks again. I'll be posting the result once I've done it.

Hi Ismail,

I'm already here in the office and I just checked the ADSIEDIT ang ran the Exchange Best Practice Analyzer.

I saw Microsoft Exchange in ADSIEDIT and no recommendation regarding the organization was recommended in Exbpa. How do you think should I proceed? Thanks....

hi mate,

First of all i guess you have put your question in the wrong section. This section is specially meant for Exchange 2007 specific. I would appreciate if you re-post it on Exchagne 2003 section.

Well,

There are two solution i can think of...

1) Try to create a manuall connection agreement then proceed further.
2) Take the system state backup and delete Microsoft Exchange Container and do a fresh installation.

Please post the update and entire information in Exchagne 2003 section and let me know

Hi Ismail,

Thanks for your reply. I'll try your first suggestion and I'll be posting the update on the Exchange 2003 section.

Thanks again.
